In accordance with the provisions of Arts. 13 and 14 of (EU) Regulation 2016/679 regarding the protection of personal data, the following text describes the ways in which Uvet Hotel Company (hereinafter also, Uvet HC), in the capacity of Data Controller, collects, uses, and protects the personal data of this Website’s Users, their legal rights, and the ways in which it is possible to get in touch with the Data Controller.

Purpose of processing

Uvet HC makes it known that the personal data collected directly from the Website is processed for the following purposes:

Fulfil the requests submitted by the User (i.e., subscription to the Uvet GBT newsletter, request of information via the Contact Form, subscription to the Travel Alert service);

Allow the unsolicited submission of a job application for any open positions;

Statistical purposes, through data aggregation or anonymisation;

Delivery of news, updates, publication of events, and promotion of other activities and projects, also on behalf of other companies of the Uvet Group.

Users are free to provide personal data via online forms for sending information and contact requests, for subscribing to the newsletter, or for receiving other messages of various natures.

Filling out of a contact form and/or sending an e-mail to the addresses provided throughout the Website, as well as to any Uvet GBT e-mail address, can result in the acquisition of the sender’s e-mail address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as of other personal data included in the message.

Such processing is based on the principle set forth in Art. 6 of the Regulation, according to which the processing of personal data is lawful where necessary to fulfil the service requested by the data subject.

Providing the aforementioned data is optional, however it is necessary for being able to satisfy your request: in fact, without your data we will not be able to provide the service indicated.

Providing your data for promotional reasons is optional and refusal to provide said data has no consequences other than making it impossible to receive promotional materials regarding activities and services.

You can at any time revoke consent of use of your data for promotional reasons or for reception of the newsletter.

Type of Personal Data Collected

The personal data collected via the website can be that provided by the User through contact and/or application forms or via e-mail addresses and is usually biographical data and contact information, résumés, or the message that the User intends to send to the owner.

In addition to common data provided directly and intentionally by the User, the computer systems and the software procedures put in place for the functioning of this website acquire, over the course of their normal functioning, certain pieces of data regarding user navigation, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This is data which is not collected for the purpose of associating it with the identity of the User, but which, by its own nature, makes it possible to identify the User through procedures of elaboration and association with data held by third parties. In this category of data are IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the Users who connect to the website and other parameters relative to the operating system and to the User’s technological environment. With regard to safety, we inform you that the database is accessible only to personnel appointed by the Data Controller, as for the related operations described above, and that the processing of your data will take place via tools that ensure confidentiality. Such processing may take place through electronic, automated and non-automated means (paper archives), outfitted with adequate safety measures, in compliance with (EU) Regulation 2016/679 governing the Protection of Personal Data, in order to avoid the data loss, or their illegal or improper use, and unauthorised access.
The data will also be processed by Keesy srl as host and Publisher of the Uvet HC application.

Sharing of Data with Third Parties

Notwithstanding eventual sharing of data in order to comply with legal obligations, the owner will cautiously share personal data provided by Users only with suppliers selected in order to support the requested service, carefully appointed external managers of processing such as commercial and operational partners, other companies in the UVET Group, or entities who provide services that support the management of the computer system and databases, the telecommunications networks, or the promotional newsletter service.

We invite Users to consider that this website may contain links to other websites that are not covered by this privacy policy. Visitors to our site may be directed towards third party websites in order to obtain additional information, like for example, events, promotion of content, providers’ services, and partners; Uvet GBT makes no guarantees regarding the ways in which Users’ data is saved or used by third party servers.

Uvet GBT may also provide links to social media platforms that connect to servers installed by individuals or organisations over which it has no control. Retention of Data

Your personal data obtained via this Website will be stored by Uvet GBT for the amount of time necessary for the fulfilment of your requests. Data contained within job applications will be stored for six months from the time of submission.

In terms of specific promotional objectives, it should be noted that the data provided will be stored for a period of two years, unless the User exercises his or right to revoke consent at any time.

User Rights

In accordance with EU Regulation 679/2016, the following rights are recognised: the right to ask the Data Controller for access to one’s personal data (Art.15), their modification (Art.16), their deletion or dismissal (Art.17), restriction of processing of one’s personal data (Art.18), the right to portability of data (Art. 20), or the right to object to their processing (Art. 21), as well as the right to not be subjected to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which has legal consequences associated with the User or which, at the same time, significantly affects him/her (Art. 22). If the processing of personal data is based on specific consent provided by the User, then in accordance with Art. 7 paragraph 3 of the Law, he or she may withdraw from the newsletter service at any time.
